The Chantilly card show is nearly identical to the Philly show. Both shows have a heavy focus on Autograph guests, and vintage cards. They even feature many of the same dealers.
I’d say the biggest difference between the two shows is that there aren’t as many corporate booths at Chantilly. It also offers more oddball & nonsports cards.
The venue is a significant upgrade in my opinion. It takes place in an event center in close proximity to the airport. It makes it easy to get to the card show and fly out. Don’t expect to have a ton of time to explore Washington DC however, it is still a bit out of the way.
Food-wise there is a place inside the Dulles Expo Center, but I would recommend eating elsewhere. I found a decent Hawaiian BBQ.
