The 1984 Rock Stamp were a Brazilian Sticker set that featured many of the Rock & Pop artists of the early 80s. Within the set you can find both band and solo cards of Iron Maiden, Van Halen (Put a few more Here).
These are difficult to find in the USA and a premium is put towards cards that contain backs. During this era of sticker cards, many were lost as they were pasted into albums.
Larger cards in this set were folded into tiny packs and have creases.

U2
This is one of the few U2 rookie cards released in 1984. The album showcases U2 2 sides live which was a Vinyl release from 1981. The album was recorded during a live performance at a show in Boston, Massachusetts. At this time U2 was touring in support of their Boy album which was released the prior year.

Depeche Mode
While Depeche Mode has solo band member cards in 1984 Panini Smash Hits, this is considered a Band rookie.
The album A Broken Frame was released two years prior in 1984.
Metallica
This is considered the rookie card for Metallica. The imagery is from their 2nd album Ride the lightning which was released in the summer of 1984. It featured hits like Creeping Death, Fade to Black, and For Whom the Bell Tolls.
